After his competitive wrestling career, Jafari transitioned into coaching, becoming a key figure in the MMA world. He has coached some of the top fighters in the sport, including UFC Hall of Famer Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Jafari was also the head coach for The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 winner, Jon Dodson, among other notable fighters such as:
